(Writer's Note: I've posted this before in past articles and social media posts a handful of years into the business, just in case those of you recognize the writing.)
A recent studio clean up, which I try to do often, found this quote that I wrote back around 2010, just one year into The Art of Lax™, which was still in a 'trail' basis, back then. I don't know who wrote the quoted paragraph, but I'm always reminded of it every day doing the business.
"Passion energizes talent. Find something you like to do so much you'd gladly do it for nothing. If you learn to do it well, someday people will be happy to pay you for it. Prioritize your life accordingly to your passion with the aim to develop the talent you have, not the one you want. Remember, that it's better to live with the pain of risk than the pain of regret."
